Annie Y. Wong, of counsel to the Firm, specializes in banking, corporate, and real estate law.
Ms. Wong represents a number of international lending institutions in connection with their commercial financing transactions in the United States including mortgage loans and various other types of asset-based financings. Ms. Wong has also represented public and private companies with respect to their commercial transactions. She has experience in mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and general corporate matters.
Ms. Wong is the co-founder of Ennismore Securities, Inc., a private investment banking and NASD member firm, and Ennismore Associates, Inc., an affiliated real estate brokerage firm. The Ennismore Group specializes in the placement of Far Eastern capital in projects and transactions in the United States and abroad. In such regard, the Ennismore Group has developed an extensive network of relationships with institutions and high net-worth individuals in Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, The People's Republic of China and Southeast Asia. To date, the Ennismore Group has facilitated in the placement of over two billion dollars of debt and equity financing in the real estate, aircraft, shipping, sports and other industries.
Ms. Wong serves on The Session of The Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church and Cornell University Council.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Wong was associated with the law Firm of Jacobs Persinger & Parker.
Ms. Wong received a Juris Doctor degree in 1980 from the New York University School of Law where she was a Root-Tilden Scholar, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1977 from the College of Arts and Sciences of Cornell University.
Ms. Wong is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese.
