Socrates Xanthopoulos, an associate of the Firm, is a real estate and corporate attorney and represents a diverse group of clients in various types of transactional activities. Mr. Xanthopoulos has broad-based experience: representing lenders and borrowers in commercial real estate financing and re-financing transactions; counseling owners, investors, developers, brokers, and managers in connection with the acquisition, disposition and leasing of commercial and residential real estate; and, handling general corporate and organizational matters, including asset and equity transfers, structuring and re-structuring of privately-held companies, as well as joint ventures, often involving multiple classes of equity interests and complexities with respect to economic and managerial control rights.
Mr. Xanthopoulos received his J.D. from New York Law School in 2012, and his B.A. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2009. Mr. Xanthopoulos is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Xanthopoulos was associated with the law firm of Georgaklis & Mallas, PLLC. While in law school, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Leonard D. Wexler in the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York, and also clerked at the law firm of Pardalis & Nohavicka, LLP.
