Brencis Navia is an associate of the Firm practicing in all aspects of corporate and securities law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation, public and private offerings, and general corporate matters. Prior to arriving at the Firm, he was an associate at Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti LLP where he practiced in their Corporate, Securities Litigation, Commercial Litigation, and Insurance practices.
During law school, he interned with Novartis Pharmaceuticals, the Federal Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey, and the Securities & Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. At the S.E.C., Mr. Navia interned with the Division of Trading & Markets, Trading Practices, and Division of Corporation Finance, Office of Mergers & Acquisitions. Additionally, Mr. Navia was an editor of the Rutgers Business Law Review. Brencis received his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School in 2018 and his Bachelor’s Degree from Gettysburg College in 2013.
Prior to law school, he was a Regional Consultant with Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC in Jersey City, NJ where he held his Series 7 license.
