Matthew Zandi, a member of the Firm, has more than 25 years of experience as a trial attorney, and counseling clients across industries on all aspects of employment law, wage and hour, internal investigations, class actions, whistleblower, and white-collar matters.  During his public service, Mr. Zandi served as a Deputy District Attorney in Orange County California, Senior U.S. Department of Justice Trial Attorney in the Civil Rights Division and the Civil Division, and Assistant United States Attorney and Director for U.S. DOJ the Affirmative Civil Enforcement Taskforce.

He is a trusted legal partner to in-house counsel, human resources boards, C-suites, and senior leadership at public and private organizations, including Fortune 100s and multinational organizations. He has built a reputation among clients and the courts for adeptly navigating and advising sensitive matters. He is a “go-to” for clients based on his sound judgment, diplomacy, and discretion.

Mr. Zandi is licensed to practice law in California federal and state courts. He earned a full academic scholarship and holds a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law. He graduated cum laude with a B.A. from the University of California at Irvine.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Mr. Zandi is active in the Iranian American community, supporting other immigrants in pursuing the American dream.
