Aclarion, Inc., a healthcare technology company that is leveraging biomarkers and proprietary augmented intelligence algorithms to help physicians identify the location of chronic low back pain, announced the pricing of its public offering in the amount of $3,000,000. EGS acted as counsel to Maxim Group LLC, the sole placement agent in the offering.

New York legislators are once again discussing eliminating the tip credit in the hospitality industry. Such legislation would deprive restaurateurs of the ability to offset tipped employee wages with the tips they receive from guests at a time when the industry is facing increased operating costs, increasing legal obligations, and unprecedented levels of unionization efforts.

Jaclyn K. Ruocco, a partner of the Firm, successfully defended a Manhattan hotel against a group of union-represented banquet servers laid off during the COVID-19 pandemic, confirming an arbitrator’s award that the hotel calculated the servers’ severance appropriately.
