Meredith Laitner

Meredith Laitner, a member of the Firm, is a corporate and securities attorney. She focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, SPAC transactions, corporate governance, and general corporate law matters. Ms. Laitner represents buyers and sellers, including SPAC acquirers, across a variety of industries in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and joint ventures, as well as representing issuers and investors in private placement and public offerings, including PIPE financing transactions. Ms. Laitner also advises clients on the public reporting requirements of issuers and shareholders.

Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Laitner was acting counsel and co-founder of a Latin America-focused automotive roll-up venture.  She was previously associated with Goodwin Procter LLP, where she represented clients in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and capital raise transactions, including private financings, public offerings, joint ventures and compliance with US securities law.  Prior to Goodwin, Ms. Laitner was an associate at K&L Gates LLP, where she represented clients in domestic and international transactions, public and private financings, commercial arrangements and regulatory matters.

Ms. Laitner received her J.D. from New York University School of Law and her B.A. from Wellesley College.  She is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
