Anthony Vassallo

Associate

Anthony Vassallo is an associate in the Firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. He represents management-side clients in a wide range of matters, including traditional labor relations, employment litigation, workplace investigations, and employment law compliance counseling. His practice spans unionized and non-unionized workforces across various industries.

Mr. Vassallo advises employers on the administration and interpretation of collective bargaining agreements and defends management in labor arbitration proceedings, contract grievances, and unfair labor practice charges. He has experience navigating disputes involving discipline, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour compliance, and workplace harassment.

He also counsels clients on compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws, including the National Labor Relations Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, New York Labor Law, and the New York State and New York City Human Rights Laws. Mr. Vassallo regularly assists employers with managing internal investigations, responding to administrative charges before the EEOC and NYSDHR, and developing proactive strategies to reduce legal exposure.

Mr. Vassallo is admitted to practice in New York and in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He earned his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and his B.A. in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University.
