Bond E. Eke-Opara, an associate in the Firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions and DeSPAC practice groups, represents companies, funds, investors, and financing sources in mergers and acquisitions, roll-ups, minority and majority investments, joint ventures and collaborations, divestitures, sales and spin-offs, SPAC and de-SPAC transactions, and other major corporate matters.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Eke-Opara practiced at a boutique New York City law firm and a leading full-service law firm in Nigeria, where he advised on cross-border and domestic equity and asset investments, divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring and restructuring, joint ventures, strategic alliances, fund advisory, and emerging companies and venture capital transactions across diverse industries.

Mr. Eke-Opara earned his LL.B. cum laude from Babcock University in Nigeria, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Babcock Law Review, and received an LL.M. in Corporate Law, Governance, and Practice from Stanford Law School.

He is admitted to practice law in New York and Nigeria.
