Mary Diaz is a litigation associate with the Firm. She represents businesses and individuals in a wide variety of complex commercial litigation matters, white-collar defense, and government investigations.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Diaz practiced at Walden Macht Haran & Williams LLP, where she represented public and private companies, as well as individuals, in government and internal investigations, complex litigation, arbitrations, white-collar defense, compliance, regulatory, and cross-border matters.
Ms. Diaz is admitted to practice in New York State, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Ms. Diaz received her Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law in 2020, where she served as an associate editor of the Fordham Environmental Law Review, and member of Moot Court. During law school, she interned with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, DC, and the Office of the United States Trustee in New York within the Department of Justice. Prior to law school, she spent three years as a paralegal at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York in the Securities and Commodities Fraud Task force. She is a 2014 graduate of Wesleyan University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Government.
Ms. Diaz is fluent in Spanish. She is a member of the Federal Bar Council, New York American Inn of Court, Hispanic National Bar Association, and the Cafecitos Network.
