Nicola Ciliotta is an associate in the Firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. His expansive labor and employment practice encompasses everything from representing employers in court and other forums, to advising businesses on all aspects of the employment relationship.
Mr. Ciliotta has significant experience representing clients in state and federal court, grievance and arbitration proceedings, and before various government agencies in employment disputes involving allegations of, inter alia, discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, hostile work environment, and unpaid wages.
Mr. Ciliotta’s practice also consists of conducting internal investigations and advising businesses on compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. He also regularly drafts and revises employment materials for businesses, including company handbooks and policies, employment agreements, non-compete and separation agreements, and training materials for managers and staff. Mr. Ciliotta is fluent in Spanish and has extensive experience working with Spanish-speaking clients.
Prior to joining Ellenoff Grossman & Schole LLP, Mr. Ciliotta litigated on behalf of and counseled businesses on labor and employment matters at a national firm. Prior to that, Mr. Ciliotta litigated labor and employment disputes on behalf of both employers and employees at a New York-based labor & employment boutique law firm.
Mr. Ciliotta has been selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
