    In Memoriam

    Michael J. Sullivan, Esq.

With profound sadness, the partners of Ellenoff Grossman & Schole, LLP, announce the sudden and untimely death of our partner and friend, Mike Sullivan, on September 7, 2018.

Elected to the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2016, Mike was a highly accomplished trial attorney who represented his clients consistent with the highest standards of professionalism, ethical conduct, and legal knowledge.

Mike began his career as a public interest attorney with the New York City Legal Aid and worked as a Federal Public Defender in New Jersey.  He was a zealous advocate for his clients throughout his career and was devoted to his friends, the community, and the law.  Above all, Mike was a warm, compassionate, funny, and wonderful man who loved his family.

Mike was much loved at EGS and he will be sorely missed.  We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife Laura, their children, Adam and Claire, and his entire family.

“It’s with genuine appreciation to all of our clients that we are in a position to achieve and maintain our leadership position in so many areas.”
